Emma Manaton, or “Em”, is a Sports Massage Therapist who specialises in musculoskeletal injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.

Em graduated in 2009 with a first class honours degree in Sport Rehabilitation. The degree focused on soft tissue techniques, rehabilitation post injury and biomechanics.  Since graduating, Em has excelled in clinical practice both at Sports Dimensions and, more recently, Em has built a successful massage and injury rehabilitation client base in Surrey and SW London.

Em enjoys working closely with her patients, giving them the support to ensure that they reach their goals through a range of soft tissue/massage techniques and exercise-based therapy including Pilates.

Em has been lucky enough to work with a range of clients from elite sprinters, professional footballers and rugby players. She has been fortunate to work with Arsenal, Fulham, Crystal Palace, Harlequins, London Broncos and London Irish and has also provided pre- and post-sport massage at many sporting events, including the London Marathon, the Moonwalk and the Extreme Terrain Festival.

Outside work, Em enjoys running and generally keeping fit and healthy. She runs for Herne Hill Harriers and, in 2015, completed the Great Wall of China Marathon.
